This tool works on two levels. When a Quill element is dropped, it splits into paragraphs. These paragraphs can be moved individually. When a paragraph is dropped it becomes a group of individual MicroStation text elements and cells.
Note: The Drop Quill Text tool is recommended over
MicroStation Drop. Using
MicroStation Drop may leave invisible text elements in the design file. Quill periodically checks for these elements and deletes them.
Note: Elements cannot be edited with Quill once they have been dropped
